Rosewood Ranch

Rosewood RanchTM is the main campus location of Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders.  It is located in Wickenburg, AZ on 13 beautiful acres high in the Sonora desert with breath taking views of the Bradshaw mountains.  Rosewood Ranch offers a state-of-the-art facility that is very secluded and private, providing the perfect atmosphere for treatment and healing from eating disorders.

We provide comprehensive treatment offered by a group of dedicated and caring professionals who work together on all aspects of our residents’ care. Our multidisciplinary team of experts includes a psychiatrist, physician, masters level therapists, addiction specialists, registered dietitian and nursing staff. Meeting several times throughout the week, the team creates and reviews each resident’s personalized treatment plan, which is based on a series of medical, psychiatric, psychological and nutritional assessments.

Patients are assigned to their own treatment team which consists of a primary therapist, registered dietitian, nurse, medical physician and psychiatrist.

Early in the Rosewood program, individuals meet with our body image and expressive art therapists in a group setting.

Our Individualized Care extends beyond eating disorders.

We realize that some individuals suffer from more than one clinical disorder. Co-existing mood and anxiety disorders such as depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, and others can be debilitating and further complicate the recovery process if left untreated. At Rosewood, we provide a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation process to identify and treat all co-occurring psychiatric disorders concurrently. The psychiatrist, in collaboration with the clinical team, will work with each resident to effectively treat and stabilize any co-existing disorders. Private sessions with the psychiatrist, primary therapist and registered dietitian continue on a weekly basis throughout treatment.

We offer an integrated addictions program, staffed with certified addictions therapists, for individuals suffering from co-occurring addictive disorders.

Family Week is an intensive 5-day program designed to make patients and their families aware of the dynamics of eating disorders.

Participants learn how family systems operate, and how eating disorders, addictions and other disorders negatively impact communications while learning to share thoughts and feelings in a non-judge- mental way. We believe that when families work together and support one another, dysfunctional patterns can be broken and inter- generational patterns arrested.

Family members are supported in making decisions on how to change these patterns into healthier means of interaction resulting in more functional relationships.
